Frank Turner to take indefinite break from touring after 2027 festival

Singer-songwriter Frank Turner has announced he will stop touring after his Lost Evenings festival in November 2027, citing personal reasons and industry challenges.

  • Frank Turner's final concerts for the foreseeable future will be the four Lost Evenings X dates at London's OVO Arena Wembley from November 4-7, 2027.
  • Turner cited the increasing difficulty of touring economics, the music industry's relationship with social media, and a desire to care for his physical and mental health as reasons for the break.
  • He stated he does not know when he will play shows again, describing the decision as an indefinite hiatus rather than permanent retirement.

Frank Turner has announced an indefinite break from touring after the final edition of his Lost Evenings festival in November 2027. The singer-songwriter stated he does not know when he will perform live again after these dates.

The 10th and final Lost Evenings festival is scheduled to take place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley from November 4-7, 2027. Turner confirmed yesterday, September 27, that these four shows will be his last for the foreseeable future.

Turner explained his decision, citing a desire to recharge, spend more time with friends and family, and explore other projects after 28 years and over 3,000 shows. He also mentioned the increasing economic difficulties of touring, the music industry's relationship with social media, and the need to care for his physical and mental health as he gets older.

Tickets for Lost Evenings X go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday, September 30. An artist pre-sale is currently underway, and a Live Nation and venue pre-sale begins at 10am tomorrow, September 29.
