England midfielder Georgia Stanway has marked her move to Arsenal with a new tattoo featuring lyrics from the club's anthem, 'North London Forever'. The words 'Whatever the weather' were inked onto her right arm, as shown in her signing reveal video last month.

Stanway, 27, joined Arsenal on a free transfer from Bayern Munich, a move she described as one of the most high-profile in the Women's Super League (WSL) transfer window. She explained that Arsenal's interest made her "feel wanted" and that she was keen to be part of what the club is building.

The midfielder, who has two European Championship winners' medals with England, spent four years with Bayern Munich. She arrives at Emirates Stadium ready to contribute to Arsenal's ambition for their first WSL title since 2018-19. Stanway also noted that adjusting to life in London will be a new challenge for her.
