Stoke City centre-half Luke Graham and Sevilla striker Robbie Ure are expected to be called up to the full Scotland squad for the first time on Tuesday. The announcement will be made when Sebastien Pocognoli names his first squad as head coach.
Graham, 22, was part of Scotland's pre-World Cup training camp in May and has started strongly for Stoke City in the Championship. Ure, also 22, transferred to Sevilla in La Liga this summer after a successful spell in Sweden.
Pocognoli will take charge of Scotland for the first time on Saturday, 26 September, in their Nations League B opener against Slovenia. His debut at Hampden Park will follow three days later against Switzerland.
