Leeds United continued their strong start to the Premier League season with a commanding victory against Newcastle United, propelling them to third in the table. The Whites delivered an impressive performance, physically dominating their opponents from the outset.

Daniel Farke's side, led by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, maintained their unbeaten record, now boasting two wins and two draws from their opening four games. In contrast, Newcastle experienced their first defeat under manager Matthias Jassle.

The scoring began shortly after the half-hour mark with an Ao Tanaka effort declared a Lewis Miley own goal. Just two minutes later, Leeds doubled their lead when Dominic Calvert-Lewin headed in a cross. Calvert-Lewin then added a third goal in first-half injury time, making it 3-0.

Leeds extended their lead to four goals when Noah Okafor drilled an effort past Lukas Hornicek. Newcastle managed a late consolation goal from substitute Bazoumana Touré, but the damage had already been done by a formidable Leeds side.
