George Oswald, President of Guernsey's Health & Social Care (HSC), stated that 20 reviews were commissioned by or on behalf of the committee during this time. These investigations covered various departments, including pathology, maternity, and ophthalmology.

Organisations and individuals involved in conducting the reviews included the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Isle of Man's head of maternity, and consultancy firms. Recommendations arising from these reports included the need for additional consultants and locum cover for the island's ear, nose and throat service, and improvements to resilience in the pathology department.
