Guildcrest Estates has announced the acquisition of Frederick & Co Property Services, a Thanet-based firm. This deal adds approximately 150 managed properties to Guildcrest's lettings portfolio, enhancing its property management business and extending its reach across Kent.
The acquisition aligns with Guildcrest's broader expansion strategy. The agency also operates in residential sales, new homes, and commercial property. Sarah Huskstep, managing director of Guildcrest Estates, stated that the acquisition complements their existing business well, noting Martyn Stampe of Frederick & Co had built a successful property management business with strong client relationships.
Martyn Stampe emphasised that finding the right buyer was a priority, highlighting Guildcrest Estates' shared commitment to personal service while offering additional support and resources. Emma, from the Frederick & Co team, will join Guildcrest Estates to continue working with her existing landlords and tenants, aiming to ensure continuity of service. The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed by the companies.
