A new estate agency named Orato Estates has launched in London, with plans to target vendors whose homes are considered distinctive. The agency will specialise in design-led properties, including restored period homes and architecturally unusual houses and apartments.
Orato Estates intends to build a smaller, selective portfolio, focusing on architecture, interiors, and individual character, rather than a high-volume model. Founder Andreas Abasaid, whose background includes luxury marketing and creative industries, said they wanted to create an agency for homes that "don't necessarily fit neatly into the traditional property box."
The agency plans to adopt a more editorial and design-focused approach to property marketing. Initially focused on London, Orato Estates will work with private sellers and developers, and aims to build relationships with architects and interior designers to source suitable properties.
