Kent-based Guildcrest Estates has acquired Frederick & Co Property Services, a lettings business located in Thanet. This transaction adds around 150 managed properties to Guildcrest Estates' portfolio across Kent.
The acquisition is part of Guildcrest Estates' expansion strategy, aiming to grow its property management division. This division operates alongside its existing residential sales, new homes, and commercial property operations.
An employee from Frederick & Co, Emma, will transfer to Guildcrest Estates to maintain relationships with existing landlords and tenants. Guildcrest's current lettings team will oversee the enlarged portfolio using the agency's property management systems.
Sarah Huskstep, managing director of Guildcrest Estates, stated that the acquisition complements the firm's existing business. Martyn Stampe of Frederick & Co Property Services noted that Guildcrest Estates shares their commitment to personal service and offers additional support and resources.
