Kane's style of play, which he describes as being one of two '10s', involves linking with a teammate and creating space by drawing opposition defenders. He noted that this strategy poses questions for the opposition, particularly regarding who to mark, and allows wingers or full-backs to exploit space.
Despite the demanding nature of his roaming role, Kane has maintained his physical output. Over the past six seasons, STATSports data indicates an 8% increase in distance covered, a 22% rise in high-speed running, and a 42% increase in accelerations. Bayern boss Vincent Kompany previously stated that Kane's unique role is 50% coached and 50% instinct.
