Henry Pollock has agreed a new deal with Northampton Saints, extending his contract until summer 2028 for more than £400,000 a year. His adviser, Eddie Hearn, stated that Pollock declined rival offers, including some from other Premiership clubs and international teams, which were worth 'well in excess of seven figures' annually.
Hearn, who has advised Pollock since March, indicated that the 21-year-old chose to remain at his boyhood club despite the financial disparity. While the new basic salary did not reach the targeted figure, Hearn confirmed that Pollock's total annual earnings, including endorsement deals, comfortably exceed £1m.
Pollock is also reportedly interested in representing Great Britain in rugby sevens at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. This prospect has been discussed with Saints, with the arrangement allowing him to explore such opportunities following a 'sensible conversation' with the club.
