A hiker was rescued from Kinder Scout in the Peak District after sustaining a scald injury to his foot. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon when the walker, part of a group, accidentally spilled hot water into his boot.
Kinder Mountain Rescue Team reported that the man's foot became blistered and painful, making it too difficult for him to walk. Volunteers attended to the injured party at Pym Chair, where he received pain relief and treatment for his injury.
The rescue team provided support and helped the hiker walk to their vehicles at Edale Cross. From there, he was driven to his friends' cars and subsequently taken to hospital.
