Middlesex have clinched their first One Day Cup title, beating Glamorgan by 67 runs in the League Two final held in Bristol. Captain Saskia Horley was the star performer, hitting a remarkable century and taking four wickets.
Horley's innings of 117 runs from 86 balls, including 13 boundaries, was crucial in setting Middlesex's challenging total. She also formed a 131-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Finty Trussler, who scored 43. Pippa Sproul also contributed 43 runs as Middlesex reached 278-6.
Glamorgan's chase saw Bethan Gammon top-score with 58, but they were ultimately bowled out for 211 in 44.5 overs. Horley continued her dominant display with the ball, taking 4 for 36 to seal the victory for Middlesex. Hannah Davis also took two swift wickets, including that of Gammon.
The win denies Glamorgan a double, having previously won the League Two T20 Blast, and marks their final match in tier-two cricket before turning professional.
