Viktor Hovland maintains his lead at the Tour Championship in Atlanta, following a third-round score of 65. Rory McIlroy is five shots behind Hovland, despite a strong performance that saw him shoot a seven-under-par 63.
McIlroy, who started the day seven shots behind the joint halfway leaders, made a rare mistake on the greens early in his round but recovered with four birdies in his next five holes. He is now in a tie for seventh place.
Scottie Scheffler is among four players three shots behind Hovland, after carding a bogey-free 66 on Saturday. English golfers Justin Rose and Matt Fitzpatrick both finished with one-under 69 rounds, placing them seven shots behind the leader.
