Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar is set to miss the Italian Grand Prix this weekend, marking his second consecutive absence from racing. The 21-year-old Frenchman is continuing his recovery from a wrist injury sustained during the summer period.
Liam Lawson, who typically races for Red Bull's second team, Racing Bulls, will once again replace Hadjar. Lawson will compete alongside Max Verstappen in Monza, following his seventh-place finish in the previous race. Reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda will fill Lawson's spot at Racing Bulls.
Hadjar is understood to have broken his wrist while boxing. Red Bull stated on Wednesday that Hadjar is making "encouraging progress" and that the team is committed to not taking any "unnecessary risks" with his return to competition.
