Jamie T, the British singer-songwriter, is set to release his sixth album, 'Ghosts (100 Days Of Morning)', on October 9, 2026. The album, issued by Polydor Records, reportedly draws on ideas from old voice memos that Jamie T rediscovered.
The album is described as a reconciliation with a difficult period, marking both an end and a new beginning. Tracks like 'Waist 36 Leg 32' acknowledge the lingering past, while 'The Won' finds hope despite life's challenges.
'Ghosts (100 Days Of Morning)' features both anthemic and introspective songs. The album opener and lead single is '3310', and 'Cocktail' was written with Damon Albarn. The record also includes a cover of The Jam's 1982 track 'Ghosts'.
The album's sound and lyrics are noted for their British influences, despite parts of it being created during a solo trip to Siena, Italy. 'Chelsea Girls' incorporates a 90s dance beat, and 'Tallahassee' references British cultural figures.
