England's Joe Dean has won the British Masters title at The Belfry, securing his first DP World Tour victory. The 32-year-old, a former supermarket delivery driver, finished 14 under par after a final round of nine-under-par 63.
Dean started Sunday seven shots behind leader Dan Hillier. He made a strong move with four birdies in his opening six holes and added five more on the back nine, including a 10-footer at the last. He then waited approximately 90 minutes to be confirmed champion.
Dean won by three strokes from four players, including 2023 champion Hillier. The tournament experienced disruptions due to stormy weather in Warwickshire, with more than nine hours of play lost on Thursday and Friday.
Dean collected the trophy and approximately £440,000 in prize money, which is more than he had earned in total from his previous 19 tournaments in the 2026 season. He stated, "All those painful hours and all the work, it's finally led to something."
