A new list ranking the 20 best songs by British-born Australian singer John Farnham has been released today. The ranking coincides with a sold-out tribute concert, which is being broadcast in Hoyts cinemas throughout Australia.
Among the songs featured are his 1967 debut "Sadie (The Cleaning Lady)", which was the biggest-selling single by an Australian artist in Australia in the 1960s, and "Reasons" from his album Whispering Jack, which remains the highest-selling album by an Australian artist.
Other tracks on the list include "Two Strong Hearts", a 1988 love song that reached No 6 on the Aria charts, and "Pressure Down", described as one of his most-played songs on Australian radio.
