England striker Harry Kane, 33, has agreed a new deal in principle with Bayern Munich. The club is currently finalising the paperwork for a contract extension that would see him stay until summer 2029.
Meanwhile, Turkey midfielder Arda Guler, 21, has agreed a new deal at Real Madrid. This follows reported interest from Arsenal and Manchester City during the summer.
In other transfer news, Liverpool are reportedly in pole position to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, 23. The England international is valued at £100m.
Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy, 31, whose current deal expires next summer, is close to agreeing a one-year extension. Additionally, Premier League clubs are monitoring 22-year-old Italy midfielder Issa Doumbia, who joined Sporting for 26m euros and has an 80m euro release clause.
Leeds United striker Lukas Nmecha, 27, is yet to agree a new deal as he seeks more playing time. There is also increasing pressure on Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson, with ex-Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard reportedly open to the role should it become vacant.
