Kaye Adams, known for her role on Loose Women, is scheduled to make her return to radio on October 4. She will co-host a special Sunday Brunch show on STV Radio alongside fellow broadcaster Shereen Nanjiani.
The three-hour programme, running from 9am to 12pm, will feature the pair playing their favourite songs and discussing the stories behind them. This appearance will be Adams’s first significant radio role since her departure from BBC Radio Scotland last year, which reportedly followed allegations about her behaviour.
Adams addressed some of these accusations on Instagram, denying claims of using a misogynistic slur or berating an intern. She also stated that an allegation of throwing a pencil while alone in a studio was untrue. The BBC did not comment on the specific reasons for her departure but confirmed she would not return to her previous role.
Adams expressed her delight at returning to STV, where she began her career in 1988 as a reporter. Nanjiani also shared her excitement about co-hosting with Adams, highlighting their long-standing friendship that originated at STV.
