Kemi Badenoch has initiated a reshuffle of her Conservative frontbench this week. This includes the appointment of Andrew Griffith as the new Shadow Chancellor, replacing Mel Stride. Griffith will lead a new economic unit alongside City minister Richard Fuller and Claire Coutinho, who will become Shadow Business Secretary and his deputy after her parental leave.

Priti Patel has been removed as Shadow Foreign Secretary, with Tom Tugendhat taking over the role. Additionally, Katie Lam has replaced James Cleverly as Shadow Communities Secretary, following Cleverly's resignation to run for London mayor.

The new shadow cabinet is expected to make its first collective appearance on Wednesday during Prime Minister's Questions.
