Mann, who is also a doctor, presents a rational persona on stage, recounting the unusual events that unfold after she and her husband move into a semi-detached house in east London. The narrative explores mysterious occurrences, including a self-flushing toilet and scratch marks on a bedroom door, all set against the backdrop of removal boxes.
The show is praised for its effective storytelling, with Mann playing various characters, including her husband. 'Corpse' will be at Summerhall until August 30 and also at Shedinburgh on August 29. Following its Edinburgh run, the production is scheduled to move to the Soho Theatre in London from February 2-13.
