Leicester City are set to visit National League North side Oxford City in the 2026-27 FA Cup first round. This fixture marks the first time the Foxes have competed at this stage of the competition since 2008.
The 2021 FA Cup winners, who were relegated to League One for the current season, will face sixth-tier opposition for a place in the second round. Russell Martin's side is currently 14th in League One after an inconsistent start.
Elsewhere in the draw, Peterborough United will take on Reading, creating a family encounter as Posh boss Robbie Savage faces his son Charlie's team. The first-round matches are scheduled to kick off around Saturday, 7 November.
A total of 91 teams were included in the draw, with four sides reaching the first round proper for the first time. Eighth-tier AFC Rushden & Diamonds, who have won five games in the competition this season, will travel to League One side Burton Albion.
