A new chapter for Australian rugby begins today as Les Kiss leads the Wallabies for the first time in a Test match against Japan. The game, the first of a two-Test bilateral series, is scheduled for kick-off at 7.05pm local time (8.05pm AEST) at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Higashiōsaka.
Kiss takes the head coaching reins from Joe Schmidt, with the match marking the start of his tenure. The temperature in Osaka for the clash is forecast to reach 36C during the day.
Adding intrigue to the fixture, former Wallabies coach Eddie Jones will be in the Japanese coaching box for Kiss's debut.
