Wales wing Lisa Neumann has returned to the extended 46-player training squad as preparations begin for the autumn's four-match WXV Global Series. The 32-year-old, who is currently unattached after leaving Harlequins in July, missed most of the 2026 Six Nations due to a hamstring injury sustained in the opening game against Scotland.
Head coach Sean Lynn has named 14 uncapped players in the squad. These include Lily Hawkins, Amy Williams, Kelsie Webster, Stella Orrin, and Lucy Issac, all of whom played in June's uncapped victory against the Barbarians.
The squad will prepare for home games against South Africa and the USA in September, followed by two away Tests against Japan in October. Lynn stated that the selected players have impressed and will undergo a robust pre-season training camp before the final squad for the Test matches is chosen.
