Liverpool have reportedly decided against a summer transfer move for Tottenham and England full-back Djed Spence, 25, despite their recent injury issues. This comes as other clubs continue to make moves in the transfer window.

Juventus are reportedly looking to secure Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee, 25, on a loan deal from Manchester United, without an obligation to buy. Arsenal and Manchester United also sent scouts to observe 20-year-old striker Kaua Elias, who scored a hat-trick in a pre-season friendly for Shakhtar Donetsk. AC Milan and Porto are also reportedly interested in the Brazilian.

Liverpool have intensified discussions with representatives for 18-year-old Paris St-Germain and Senegal winger Ibrahim Mbaye, who has reportedly expressed a desire to leave the French champions. Negotiations between West Ham and Tottenham for 27-year-old Israel winger Manor Solomon are currently off due to financial disagreements. Ipswich and Everton are among the clubs hoping to attract 27-year-old Senegal international Krepin Diatta, a free agent after his contract at Monaco expired in June. Ipswich are also in advanced talks with Fulham regarding the permanent signing of 29-year-old Serbia midfielder Sasa Lukic. Galatasaray have added 25-year-old Arsenal and Brazil forward Gabriel Martinelli to their transfer shortlist. Sunderland are reportedly in pole position to sign Mozambique winger Geny Catamo from Sporting Lisbon, with Aston Villa, Brentford, and Everton also reportedly interested in the 25-year-old.
