The world number one, who has skipped low-key floor events this year to manage his schedule, added £4,000 to his prize money tally. The projected cut-off for the top 64 to qualify for Minehead is over £30,000 after all 34 events.
Littler swept through his early matches, beating Archie Self 6-2, Arno Merk 6-3 and William O'Connor 6-3, then thrashed Chris Dobey 6-0 in the quarter-finals. However, Wattimena took out a 115 checkout in the final-leg decider to claim victory.
The Dutchman made it a meaningful win by taking the title, beating Kevin Doets 8-6 in the final.
