Dublin folk band Madra Salach performed two sold-out nights at the Electric Ballroom in London, with the first on October 13, 2026. These concerts represent the band's largest shows to date.

During their set, the band included covers such as Ewan McColl’s ‘The Tunnel Tigers’ and The Pogues’ ‘Turkish Song Of The Damned’. Paul Banks, the frontman, introduced each cover with context and humour. An incendiary version of The Pogues’ ‘Turkish Song Of The Damned’ is set to feature on an upcoming tribute album to Shane MacGowan.

Madra Salach also performed their own material, including their latest single ‘Ribbon Factory’ and tracks like ‘Murphy Can Never Go Home’, which gave its title to their debut EP ‘It’s A Hell Of An Age’. The band is now looking ahead to 2027 for the release of their debut album, 'Gorta'.
