David Stevenson, from Peterborough, who was found as a baby in a London block of flats in 1960, has reconnected with his birth family after 65 years.
Mr Stevenson was discovered in the hallway of a Golders Green block of flats when he was just a few days old. He was later adopted by the Stevenson family.
His wife, Julie Stevenson, located a police report from his adoption records, which led to contact with PC Tegwin Curl, the officer who dealt with Mr Stevenson when he was found. The search eventually uncovered details of his birth mother, Petra, who was born in the Netherlands in 1940.
Mr Stevenson connected with ITV's Long Lost Family team in 2015, which led to a breakthrough in identifying his birth mother through DNA and genealogical research. Petra died in 2010, but Mr Stevenson has since met her sister, Maryanne, and cousins in Rotterdam.
