Man arrested after attempted ram-raid at Bradford jewellery shop

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary following an attempted ram-raid at a jewellery shop in Bradford on Saturday.

  • A Nissan Navara was reportedly driven into the shop front on Duckworth Lane.
  • A 47-year-old customer sustained minor injuries during the incident.
  • No items were reported stolen from the premises.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary after an attempted ram-raid at a jewellery shop in Bradford. Police stated that a group of people entered Pakistan Jewellers on Duckworth Lane at 13:19 BST on Saturday after a Nissan Navara was deliberately driven into the shop front.

The arrested man has been bailed pending further inquiries. A 47-year-old woman, who was a customer at the time, received treatment for minor injuries.

CCTV footage reportedly shows a car crashing through the front of the premises before a group of balaclava-clad men briefly entered the store. Police confirmed that no items were stolen.
