A man has died following a tiger attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, South Yorkshire Police have confirmed. Police were called at 13:35 BST on Saturday after receiving reports of a man entering the tiger enclosure at the attraction near Doncaster.

The force stated that the tiger subsequently attacked the man, and he died at the scene. His family has been informed and is receiving support from officers.

Police confirmed that the tiger was uninjured and remained in the enclosure after the incident, posing no wider risk to the public. The park was evacuated and officers are still at the scene. The park remains closed for the weekend.
