Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly set to compete for the signing of Bournemouth and France left-back Adrien Truffert. The 24-year-old defender is valued at approximately £60m.
Meanwhile, Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, 27, is expected to follow manager Mikel Arteta in signing a new long-term contract with the club. The Gunners are also reportedly preparing a fresh attempt to bring Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, 26, to north London in January, with Alvarez said to be seriously considering the move.
In other transfer news, Newcastle United are considered favourites to secure Lyon midfielder Tyler Morton, 23, who previously played for Liverpool. Additionally, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all said to be monitoring England defender Jarell Quansah, 23, who is currently impressing at Bayer Leverkusen.
