Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has made one change to his starting line-up for today's derby against Manchester City, with Patrick Dorgu coming in at left-back for the injured Luke Shaw. This is the only change from United's last Premier League game, a 2-2 draw with Everton.

For Manchester City, Enzo Maresca has made two changes from their win over Coventry last weekend. Matheus Nunes replaces Abdukodir Khusanov at right-back, and Phil Foden is preferred to Iliman Ndiaye in attack. Jeremy Doku remains out with a calf injury.

United's midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who did not play a single minute at the recent World Cup due to being an unused substitute until England's semi-final exit and then picking up an unspecified injury before the third-place playoff, will start today's match. A United fan group, the 1958, has called for a "peaceful protest" before kick-off, starting at a pub near the stadium, regarding the club's actions against ticket touting.
