Manchester Storm's Challenge Cup match against the Nottingham Panthers was called off on Sunday, 13 September, due to a "technical issue with the ice" at the AO Arena. The club announced the suspension on social media just minutes before a revised 19:30 start time.
The game was scheduled to be the Storm's first competitive fixture at the city centre venue in 24 years. The club apologised to supporters for the disruption and thanked them for their patience.
Fans who purchased tickets for the suspended match are advised to retain them, as they will be valid for the rescheduled fixture on 14 October.
