Nirvair Sander, who runs the Martin & Co Worcester franchise, has acquired Parsons Choice, a lettings agency based in Stoke Prior. This marks the third such acquisition for Sander within a 12-month period.
The purchase of Parsons Choice follows two earlier acquisitions in the past year, one of which included the lettings division of Hills Estate Agents. These transactions contribute to ongoing consolidation within the lettings market in Worcestershire.
According to Sander, this expansion strategy aims to maintain personalised service through family-owned business structures. Toby Phillips, Managing Director of Martin & Co, noted that these transactions highlight opportunities for operators looking to grow while retaining local market knowledge.
The broader lettings sector is experiencing increased merger and acquisition activity, as both franchisees and independent operators seek to build scale. This approach allows agencies to expand their property portfolios and geographic coverage, integrating existing client relationships and local expertise.
Sander has indicated that further acquisitions are being considered, with a focus on agencies that complement the current portfolio and uphold service standards.
