A 2005 British film titled 'Breakin' the Cycle', which featured rapper Lethal Bizzle and Bradley McIntosh of S Club 7, was confiscated by the Met Police. The film's rough cut and raw footage are considered lost.
Colin Browne, identified as the leader of the Hackney gang Love of Money, wrote and directed the film while serving a prison sentence for cocaine smuggling. He reportedly planned to take the film to the Cannes film festival.
Editor Lewis Albrow, who worked on the film, stated that he believed Browne and his associate, D, were ex-gangsters and out of that life at the time of filming. However, Albrow now understands, after speaking with D 20 years later, that they were allegedly running two businesses simultaneously and found it difficult to leave their previous life.
Bradley McIntosh, who played a drug dealer in the film, said he was not aware that Browne and D were still dealing drugs during production. He stated they did a good job of keeping it from the cast and crew.
