A murder inquiry has commenced after a 24-year-old e-bike cyclist died following a collision with a moped in west London. Emergency services were called to North Pole Road, North Kensington, at approximately 01:20 BST on Friday, where the man was found seriously injured and pronounced dead shortly after.
The Metropolitan Police stated that the investigation is in its early stages, but it is believed the moped had been pursuing the e-bike cyclist prior to the crash. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John confirmed that detectives are pursuing several lines of inquiry, including efforts to identify and trace the moped rider.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the e-bike or the moped to come forward with information.
