My Chemical Romance has announced an expanded 20th anniversary reissue of their four-times platinum album, 'The Black Parade'. The reissue, set to arrive on October 23 via Reprise Records, will feature the original tracklist along with six bonus tracks.
Among the bonus tracks are three live recordings from the band's October 2007 gig at the Maxwell venue in Hoboken. The other three are B-sides, including the previously unreleased 'Someone Out There Loves You', which were scattered across different releases.
To mark the announcement, My Chemical Romance today (Thursday, September 10) released 'The Sharpest Lives (Live from Hoboken)' for streaming. This track was previously only available on the DVD portion of their 2008 live collection, 'The Black Parade Is Dead!'.
The band stated that for the first time, they have included everything finished during the original sessions in a single collection. James Jean, the artist behind the album's original cover, has also created three new pieces of art for the reissue, featuring iconic characters from that era.
The reissue will be available in various formats, including a 2LP version, a 1LP hologram vinyl edition, and a One Step vinyl package limited to 7,000 copies, created from original analogue master recordings.
