The Australian drama 'The Airport Chaplain' is now available on Netflix, featuring a soundtrack that includes songs from Pixies, Kneecap, and INXS. All eight episodes of the series were released internationally on the streaming platform on August 26.
Co-created by Elise McCredie and Jude Troy, the show stars Hugo Weaving as Tobias Wallace, an airport chaplain who uses unorthodox methods to assist passengers and airport workers. This approach leads to conflict with the new terminal manager, Mira Ansari-Cole, played by Shabana Azeez.
The series, directed by Bonnie Moir and Tig Terera, was filmed in Melbourne. Its original score was composed by Australian musician and sound designer Jed Palmer, known for his work combining electronics, guitar, and classical orchestration.
