The soundtrack for the new romantic comedy, 'One Night Only', features a new original song from New Radicals, marking their first in 28 years. The track, titled 'One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)', is part of a three-track official release.
The film's score was composed by Este Haim and Christopher Stracey. The official release also includes King Princess's cover of John Paul Young’s ‘Love Is In The Air’ and a suite from Haim and Stracey’s score.
Starring Monica Barbaro as jingle singer Allie and Callum Turner as pizza shop owner Owen, 'One Night Only' is directed by Will Gluck. The movie, which opens in UK cinemas on Friday, August 28, also features appearances from Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, and Molly Ringwald.
Barbaro performs several songs in character, including repurposed versions of ‘Brave’ and ‘A Thousand Miles’ as pharmaceutical advertising jingles, and Yazoo’s ‘Only You’. Other artists featured on the soundtrack include Jungle, FLO, Robyn, Wet Leg, and Arlo Parks.
