VACAYA, a US-based LGBTQ+ travel tour operator, has announced details of a new "sex-progressive" cruise for men and male-identifying passengers. Named RU5H, the sailing aims to make all-gay cruises more accessible to a wider range of travellers.
The chartered cruise departs on 2 October for three nights, sailing around Palm Beach, Florida, aboard Margaritaville at Sea’s Paradise ship. It includes one stop in Nassau in the Bahamas. Prices for the voyage start from approximately £292 per person.
Patrick Gunn, co-founder of RU5H, stated that the ship itself is a key part of the destination. The inaugural weekend is planned to feature eight parties with DJs from various queer nightlife scenes, alongside programming that includes social gatherings, underwear parties, and fetish-orientated sex workshops.
The ship will offer curated experience zones, such as creative spaces, social lounges, immersive role-play experiences, and areas for relaxation. Clothing-optional upper decks will be available while at sea. Passengers are required to respect boundaries, and some no-photo zones will be in place.
