Alt-pop artist Nieve Ella is set to release her debut album, 'How Long Will It Take?', on October 16, 2026. The album, released under Artist Theory, is described as an ambitious work that aims to capture the exhaustion of navigating modern life and coming to terms with the messiness of growing up.
Ella previously stated that she wanted the album to "sound like a massive fucking theatre piece" and surprise her fans. The record blends hazy, indie-drenched melodies, tender lyricism, and gritty guitar riffs, showcasing a balance of vulnerability and creative fearlessness.
Tracks like 'I’m Not Dead' and 'Back To Basics' exemplify this approach, featuring insightful lyrics alongside a newfound self-assuredness. While some deeper cuts, such as 'Romance Is A Desert' and 'Love:Hate', take a more straightforward approach, the album generally demonstrates Ella's determination to push beyond her comfort zone.
