Troye Sivan recently hosted a party in a former Presbyterian church in London's West End, also known as the iconic 80s nightclub The Limelight, to celebrate the release of his song 'Party'. The event included the premiere of the music video for 'Party', directed by Gordon von Steiner, which depicts a 15th-century orgy.
Sivan's new album, 'She's the Best', was released last week. He shared with NME that the album was written in 2025 and reflects on the various experiences the dancefloor welcomes. He views partying as a significant, rather than frivolous, activity.
The album is described as a mix of contradictions, featuring tracks like 'Party', which samples Madonna, and 'Canada Dry', alongside more vulnerable songs such as 'Embarrassingly'. 'Lost Time', the album's final track, includes a spoken-word interlude by Lily-Rose Depp. Sivan believes the album captures the "very high highs and then very low lows" of his life over the last three years, showcasing his experimentation and honesty.
