Lando Norris clinched his second consecutive victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, marking the final race held at Zandvoort before its departure from the Formula 1 calendar. This win places Norris 83 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli, positioning him fourth in the drivers' standings.
George Russell also had a strong showing, winning the sprint race on Saturday and securing a third-place finish on Sunday. This performance brings him level on points with teammate Lewis Hamilton, whom he held off for a podium spot. Mercedes swapped their two drivers late in the race, with Antonelli ultimately taking second place.
Kimi Antonelli, despite a mistake in sprint qualifying, topped practice, recovered to fourth in the sprint, qualified third, and achieved two superb starts on Sunday before Norris overtook him. Max Verstappen, in his home grand prix, crashed out on the opening lap, which was described as a major mistake despite his earlier decent work.
