Nottingham Forest are currently in talks regarding the potential €15m (£12.8m) signing of Celta Vigo right-back Javi Rueda. This move is anticipated to be Forest's final incoming transfer of the window, following the acquisition of Liam Delap from Chelsea.
Forest's manager, Oliver Glasner, has reportedly been looking for a right wing-back, and the 24-year-old former Real Madrid academy player is said to fit the desired profile. Rueda, who joined Celta three years ago, made 26 La Liga appearances and 11 Europa League appearances last season, helping his side reach the quarter-finals.
In other transfer news, Chelsea have loaned defender Axel Disasi to Crystal Palace for the season. Disasi expressed his anticipation for playing on the other side at Selhurst Park, stating, "I know that it’s very tough to play against Palace at Selhurst Park – so I’m looking forward to being on the other side now."
Additionally, Brentford have reached an agreement with West Ham to sign left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf for £35m, with potential add-ons of up to £5m. Diouf has reportedly been keen to leave West Ham since their relegation.
