Nottingham Forest were left frustrated after a potential winning goal against Tottenham was disallowed by VAR for a handball by Neco Williams. The incident, which occurred halfway through the second half, saw Williams force the ball over the line after a Morgan Gibbs-White chip.
VAR official Peter Bankes determined that Williams made contact with the ball with his arm as he covered his face, leading to the goal being ruled out. On-field referee Craig Pawson announced the decision, confirming a direct free-kick for Spurs.
The 0-0 draw at the City Ground means both Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are still searching for their first Premier League win of the season.
