Nottinghamshire has extended its lead at the top of Division One in the County Championship, securing 13 points from their draw against Warwickshire. This result came in a week where all five Division One matches ended in draws.

Joe Clarke was a key player for Nottinghamshire, scoring 150 runs in the match. This century pushed him past 1,000 runs for the season, making him the highest scorer in the division, 191 runs ahead of Tom Abell.

Elsewhere, Somerset drew with Sussex, while Surrey also earned a draw against Essex. In Division Two, Durham are now 40 points clear at the top after their victory, with Gloucestershire 50 points adrift at the bottom.
