A plumber accused of sexually assaulting female customers in their homes has denied the charges. Nigel Rowley, 65, of Wordsworth Road in Daybrook, Nottinghamshire, faces 12 counts of sexual assault against five different women.
The alleged incidents involve hugging, picking up, and touching women over and under their clothing while he was working as a plumber and heating engineer in Edwalton and Keyworth. These incidents reportedly took place between September 2024 and September 2025.
During a hearing at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday, District Judge Sunil Khanna heard Mr Rowley indicate not guilty pleas. He was granted bail on the condition he does not contact any of the alleged victims and is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 9 October to enter formal pleas.
