Police name two men who died in County Down workplace incident

Police have named Joseph Hobbs, 23, and Mark Glover, 38, as the two men who died following a workplace incident in County Down on Friday.

Police have named two men who died after a workplace incident on Friday in County Down. Joseph Hobbs, 23, from Comber, and Mark Glover, 38, from Ballygowan, were pronounced dead at the scene after receiving medical treatment.

The incident took place on the Ballygowan Road in Crossnacreevy at around 10:45 BST. Police have extended their sympathies to those affected and stated they will continue to work with Northern Ireland's Health and Safety Executive (HSENI) as enquiries proceed.

Democratic Unionist Party MP Gavin Robinson and Alliance Party MLA Peter McReynolds both expressed their condolences following the incident.
