Hampshire police are searching for six men in connection with an anti-migrant protest that took place at Eastney Marina in Portsmouth on 6 September. The force has released images of the individuals they want to identify.

Hundreds of demonstrators had blocked roads in an attempt to stop coaches carrying 120 migrants from leaving the city. During the evening, several police, coastguard, and Border Force vehicles were damaged, and seven officers received treatment for injuries at the scene.

Assistant Chief Constable Tony Rowlinson has urged anyone who recognises the six men to contact the police. In connection with the incident, a 42-year-old man from Paulsgrove was charged on Friday with violent disorder and assaulting a police officer, and has been remanded into custody. A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
