The Premier League season is set to resume this weekend, following the recent transfer window. The Women's Super League also kicks off its new season.

Saturday's Premier League action includes Newcastle United hosting Bournemouth at 12:30 BST. Newcastle has secured four points from their initial two fixtures and will be looking for a win that could temporarily place them at the top of the table. Bournemouth, however, is still seeking their first win of the season.

Five additional Premier League matches are scheduled for 15:00 BST, including Brentford v Sunderland and Manchester City v Coventry. Later, at 17:30 BST, Hull will play Aston Villa.

On Sunday, the Women's Super League begins with Brighton facing Arsenal at 12:00 BST. Arsenal, who finished as runners-up last season, will be hoping for a strong start. In the Premier League, Everton will play Manchester United at 14:00 BST, followed by a significant clash between Arsenal and Chelsea at 16:30 BST, with both teams having won their first two league games.
